Peter Sidebottom

Founder and Chairman

After qualifying as a chartered surveyor in the City of London, Peter joined Herring Son & Daw to set up Australian offices between 1969 and 1976. In 1985 he joined Hill Samuel Bank in London to set up a real estate M&A and advisory unit. Thereafter he joined Horsham Corporation based in Berlin to become a board member of Horsham (subsequently renamed TrizecHahn), and primarily involved with the restructuring and re-financing of the company.

In 1998 Peter became Managing Director of TrizecHahn Europe to build a pan-European shopping centre franchise, undertaking successful developments throughout Europe. To recast Trizec as a pure office REIT, he oversaw the withdrawal of the company from Europe - a divestment of €300 million, 106 staff and 8 joint ventures between 2000 and 2003.

Peter joined Pinnacle in 2002 as Executive Chairman.

His other real estate activities have included the acquisition of a 25 hectare operating naval shipyard in Montenegro to develop a super-yacht marina with residential and leisure development including a Four Seasons hotel. The first phase of this development has been completed.
